Personal gaming hardware guidance

Find the right rig for the games you actually play.

Set your games, resolution, frame-rate goal and budget. We calculate the hardware tier first, then evaluate current configurations—without pretending every RTX-labelled system is equal.

A score that shows its work

The Suitability Score is a purchasing aid, not a benchmark result. It uses disclosed requirements and information visible in each listing.

35%

Game fit

How closely the detected GPU tier matches the selected game, resolution and frame-rate target.

20%

Configuration balance

Whether memory, storage and processor signals support the GPU instead of creating obvious bottlenecks.

20%

Price value

Price relative to the target hardware tier and the buyer’s maximum budget.

15%

Ownership fit

Desktop upgrade potential, laptop portability and alignment with the selected ownership priority.

10%

Listing confidence

Condition, seller information and specification completeness. Missing details reduce the score.

Important limitation

Scores are based on listing information and an openly described rule set. They are not claims of hands-on testing. Confirm the exact GPU, processor, memory, storage, wattage, display, warranty and return terms before purchasing.

What the adviser evaluates

Performance target before product

The tool determines an appropriate hardware floor before it searches current listings. This prevents a cheap but unsuitable product from becoming the recommendation simply because it is available.

Exact configuration, not model family

Two systems with the same brand or family name may use different GPUs, memory, storage, displays and power limits. The adviser evaluates the configuration information provided with the individual listing.

Tradeoffs in plain language

Every result identifies why it fits, where it compromises and which details still require verification. Low-information listings are penalized instead of receiving invented specifications.
